Default Tranny issue t-56 any advice?

Hey guys, well yesterday I was leaving my house n as soon as I got to 4th gear I could't shift to 5th or to get it out of 4th for that matter all the other gears went in with no issues including reverse. Now it's stuck between 4 And neutral so if I move it 1/2 inch down it's in 4th n 1/2 inch up its not in gear but not completely in neutral. The clutch feels good has pressure I checked fluids and it's good could it be the silenoid on the clutch pedal? I changed the one on the tranny when I did the clutch or is my tranny done? Any advise would be great thanks in advance I need to fix this asap to make matters worse I just sold my bike on Friday!!! So this is my only transportation

Same happened to my friends T56 and mine. The problem is In the trans. I think the fork gets out of place or something like that. U need that gear rebuild. U can only do one or all if u choose to.

I can vouch for Cunningham Motorsports (CMS). They rebuilt my T56 and it works great.

Worst idea. If u get a used one u probably are gonna have the same problem later. This is pretty common in the t56. Just get that one gear re done and u will be ok.

You could always buy the rebuilt one on Craigslist for 1500, and just sell that one for around 800 or so. At least you won't be out too much that way. Some one is always looking for a t56 it should sale quick.

Well looks like I have 2 choices. I don't plan on keeping my car anymore with this happening and I'm at 105,000 miles i kinda lost faith in it. I plan on trading it in and getting a 2500 duramax. I know sucks n I hate to do it but its about that time. Next camaro I get will be a 67

Hah this is what happen to me. You basically have to force it out of gear then avoid 4th like the plaque probably 3rd too. This is what I've been doing till I can afford a rebuild..
