Default Anyone buy a new Camaro off the lot?

I want to go knock some numbers around with the salesmen for a fully loaded 2011 SS. I'd love to know what price you got for yours (or if you know someone) and what I should shoot for during "negotiations." Gracias.

Wow nice prices guys. All the dealership websites I look at listed them around $37-$39. I want to get the fully loaded one (2SS) I think, should I aim for $32-$33 or would they just laugh me off the lot?

Dude you go in an offer what you want, you have the money and they want your money, pure and simple. You never let them have the upper hand, if they don't deal you just tell them that you are walking out and they lost your business and that if they want to be serious about selling that car, they will deal with you. Works for me.

I know but I don't want to go so low that they don't even consider it.

i got mine for 35,600 but after taxes, extended warr, interest gap, it came out to 40,xxx. that was a 2ss/rs auto. fully loaded minus the sunroof. i dont like the look of it on the camaros. list was 37,900 so you could get it lower than list price

Cool, I think I'm going to offer like $31, let the salesman "try to convince his manager to let him give me a deal" and see what happens.

Tom, why not just keep yours, you are better off keeping it than buying a new one lol.

All joking aside, $31k sounds reasonable, are you gonna get a pewter one? lmao.

X2,
I've done this and it does work! just be ready to walk out or towards your car then they'll come out to not let you leave the lot. They are also testing you to see if you really would go elsewhere. Just don't pay more than you want to or think you should and know that for a "new" car like that there are 10 other dealers with the same exact car that will work with you on the price. But I have yet to have to go to another dealer after walking out the building or to drive off the lot.

Oh I'm keeping my baby too! I'll never sell her after all the time and money I've put into her.

They don't have pewter lol. I'm thinking white or black. I'd like to get a non-metallic color so if I get new parts and stuff it will be easier to blend.

Yup, exactly why I want to know what other people have paid for theirs. I plan on writing an amount and my phone number on a piece of paper for the salesman and tell him to call when he finishes wrestling prices over with his boss. I know how those cheesy sales tactics go lol
