I had that same problem before Ryne tuned my car. Didn't know what it was, so I just took it like that for a tune. When Ryne was tuning it on the dyno, he looked at it and told me it was 1 of my spark plug wires. The wires were too close to the headers and burn 3 wires. I got new wires with heat sleeves. Problem solved after that.

If your car is due for a plug/wire change anyway, it won't hurt to tackle that first before you start cutting access hatches for a fuel pump install (or do it the hard way and drop the gas tank )

Good Point. Invest in some plugs and wires then go from there. If they are the stock ones Chances are u still have the Metal heat shields that are known to cause misfires.

NGK+Whatever brand cables and see what happens.

Did you check if the pump is getting power?

Did you check the fuel pressure when it didn't want to start?

If that would be the case then it wouldn't be the pump. Make sure u put a gauge before u change the pump. It's not so easy to change u know.

Yup, check the pressures. Idle and running. . . .

Not that bad to change if you cut a "trap door".

I haven't done it yet, but I looked into it a bit for future purposes.

its like that pump doesn't want to work when its cold but once it runs and if u don't let it sit for more than an hour it starts right up. but over night it cranks and wont start then u shut it off and crank it for like a few sec then it starts. my master tech says the pump is going out. and it has fuel pressure while at idle and running but if u stomp on it it doesn't hit power band at all. probably going to swap out the oe for a 255 with in the next few months.
