AZ Grudge 1/8th mile race over $5000 in payouts! Ok guys and gals the time has come to get your cars ready for the Second annual 660 Nationals brought to you by Huges Performance and Borgart Racing Wheels . It will be October 29 @ Speedworld Drag Strip and the gates will open at 5 p.m.
Special rules and qualifying will be in place for the Renegade Class. 6.50 and 7.50 will use the same rules but qualifying will be based on closet to the dial in without going under if two cars have the same e.t. we will use MPH to break the tie. We are sorry but at this time Street Radial will be ran at this event but will only be a 70/30 split pot class . And will use all the same rules as the other races. And qualifying will be random draw and then placed on the ladder from there.
Renegade Class Rules and Payouts for 660 Nationals:
Renegade RULES
No 5” bore space Motors
No full tube chassis: round or square.
Back half OK.
Ladder bar and four link suspension with coil over shocks OK.
Tubs Full or Mini OK.
Must retain unaltered factory front frame rails.
No strut front ends unless from factory. Upper/Lower aftermarket control arms and coil over shocks OK.
Aftermarket K-member bolt in (stock location).
No weld-in K-members.
No altering of wheel base.
Interior: Stock appearing dash. Passenger seat can be removed to accommodate nitrous bottles or intercooler etc.
Must have carpet and covered doors.
Factory safety glass or Lexan.
Must have functional head and tail lights
Tire size any 325 or smaller drag Radial, 29.5 x10.5 slick(no W tire), or 30 x 12.5 or 30 x 13.5 e.t. Steet
Exhaust: NO OPEN HEADERS
Any power adder.
All competitors must stage and complete the run. This applies to all By-runs.
Racing will be on a eighth (1/8) mile format. Four (4) tenths light.
All NHRA and or track safety rules apply.
Entry Fee $125.00
Pay outs Winner $3000.00
Runner up $500.00
Semi’s $200.00
Ladder For Renegade:
In effort for this race to keep racing interesting we will do random draw every round!!
6.50 payouts and entry fees:
Entry fee $80.00
Winner $1000.00
Runner up $400.00
Semi’s $100.00
7.50 payouts and entry fees:
Entry Fee $60.00
Winner $800.00
Runner up $300.00
Semi’s $75.00
