Default I ran 188.5 mph at the Mojave Mile! Big thanks to CMS!

I just wanted to give you guys an update on my car... I went out to the Mojave Mile this weekend and ran 188.5 mph. Unfortunately I blew one of my silicone connectors during the run, so I was losing boost pressure at the very end. It definitelty would have been a 200mph pass. There was tons of wheelspin even at 150+ mph, it was a lot of fun it was an odd shaped coupler that i knew i couldnt find anywhere local, so I was done for the weekend. Even though I didnt reach my goal, I know I will next time out. I have a small list of changes that Im going to make:

Change to a T6 housing
Upgrade intercooler and tubing to eliminate as many connectors as possible.
relocate battery to trunk
add bigger air filter
change gears from 3.50 to 3.25.
add meth injection
turn up the boost

when i was crossing the line, i was around 6300rpm, and with the lower gear ratio, it should put me into the 220mph range while still in 5th.

Big thanks to Ryne at CMS... I texted him on Saturday (his day off) asking how to change something on HP Tuners and he immediately called me to make sure everything was okay with the car, and even sent me a new file to upload to the car. He even checked in with me on Sunday to see how i was doing! Couldnt ask for more from a tuner!

Heres a pic of the run, Ill post up more tomorrow.

Nice run. When I went 196 na I was using 3:55 gears. When I took my car back with 5 psi it went 207 mph with 3:07 gears. I like the longer gears for the mile. You might want to try a longer gear than a 3:25 it will help you with traction. I will run next spring.

How fast did all of the cars run?

i think with the t6 turbo, and meth injection 200+ is not an issue.... 3.25 or maybe taller would be best... your car comes on boost seriously hard, that might tame it a tad.... lol i thought there was something up, thats good you found the issue...

Thanks for the link, I'll try to make it out there next year.

Is there a group from down here that goes out there?
