Default For those of you who like dubstep

My friends band did a totally live cover of Skrillex. They did this whole song as one track, no mixing or editing. Whether you like dubstep or not this is pretty good just as skill goes.

Pretty sick bro, I have to admit I never would have thought someone else on here would be into dubstep. Just curious, are you in college? Reason I ask is I never heard of dubstep before going to college haha.

Actually I am headed back to college this spring. The only reason I know of dubstep is because of friends of mine who are into it. One of them is the bassist in that video.

That is pretty awesome. You just cannot ignore the skill in that, music is really taking a jump to electronic/rock or electronic/pop with heavy synth work. Very neat.

It's great to see real talent and actually playing instruments to make music thats different. I can't tell you how many people I've met that claim to make electronic music but are just mixers with a macbook.

Various types of this kind of music is very popular here in the bay area. Especially in san francisco where there is a new generation of hippies running around.

I had never heard of dubstep until I moved to CA 3 years ago. Now the same people from my home town (Missouri) that made fun of me for listening to it are now die hard dubstep fans lol. "Bro have you ever heard of skrillex" I just LOL

i think your friends made that song alot better. it sounds way better coming from actual instruments. they did an awesome job, too bad i cant put that on a cd lol. im not much of a dubstep fan but i know of it. and to actually like what they did i think says alot itself.

You can put it on a CD. Look at the info on the Youtube page, they added a download link to the song.
