Default Good Machine Shop in Colorado

I'm debating on building a 408 lq4, however i'm wondering where I should go in colorado for a good machine shop that is familiar with LS engines?

I have had work done in the past at greeley auto but they are hit and miss with quality...

So any recommendations on where to go in the denver/front range area to get the machine work done?

Theryre tough to find
I havent heard much of any ls shops.
There is a shop in the springs but i cant remember their name
They have a dyno their too.
I just finally decided to get a shortblock and put tsp head/cam combo
with their mail order tune till i get it to that shop on co.springs
I have heard of a shop in loveland? Cant remember their name either
I gave up hope awhile back for a reputable shop anywhere in Colorado
Also there is a member on this forum that lives in Black Forest
he has a ls427 in a 98vette i believe
sorry i know im not any help

ya know..
Im in Castle Rock
If i had a bigger garage and no HOA to bitch about my truck parked too long
I would do it my self to change engines
I will help you put that rotating assembly in your block
Pm me if you seriously want to consider

Are your cylinder walls that bad?
Can we hone them and use the 402 assembly?

Just an offer, Im an electrician by trade but been fixin **** since i was 12

Well i was planning on doing all the labor myself, however i just didn't know what place to trust to actually get all the tolerances setup and machined properly. I do have all the tools and equipment to check everything out.

I'm gonna wait till i tear it down to measure cylinder bores etc.. to determine if i actually need to bore it. Hoping to get away with honing and installing some pistons.

If you find out the name of the loveland shop let me know. its much closer to me than the springs.

thanks for the help!

Anyone ever heard of Sean Cleary? He has a little machine shop in lakewood and sounds like he does lots of custom stuff. Talking with him he had done quite a few LS motors for some corvette club, didn't say who. Wondering if he does good work?

From talking to him it sounds he was very knowledgable.
