So I go to my car an unlock and it doesn't flash the lights. then I start the car and my gauge cluster doesn't light up. my radio wont turn on. its ligts are off.. And the fog lights don't turn on either.. my headlightswork. my drlwork. my turn signal works. my break lights work... help is appreciated

oh and the only needles that work are the oil pressure and battery. rpm speedo temp and fuel don't move an inch

are the interior lights working? power windows?

sounds to me like the BCM but i'm not certain what all it controls in so far as the gauge cluster. I know it controls keyless entry, lights flashing, radio, power windows and interior lights.

very first thing to check, is the fuses.

second thing would be the headlight and/or high beam switch.

yeah check the "gauges" fuse. its in the fuse box to the left of the cluster

It's not a fuse. I talked with him last night and he said all the fuses were fine, specifically the gauges fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box (first thing I told him to check).

The radio also being out tells me that its either the BCM or a ground somewhere.

Make sure your checking the fuses with a DMM not just looking at the fuses for an open. The "Gauges" fuse is used by the Instrument Panel, BCM, Stop Lamp Switch, Daytime Running Lamp Module, and Traction Control Switch. The "Gauges" Fuse is powered by a fusible link located in the engine bay, Right on the battery power supply cable post on the fuse block. You can try the grounds circuits too, But most the interior switches and interior modules share this ground and would also be having issues. It is located on the dash support bracket behind the left kick panel.

The basics... Fuses and fusible links. Like Xpeditious said. Check that fusible link, if all checks ok then you would need to get into some electrical checking

We found a burnt tail light fuse (don't know why since tail lights do work) and replaced it. the new fuse blew. earlier in the week I had replaced two bulbs that have been out for about 4years( yes the right bulbs werecorrect.)
my bro got the cluster lightsto work but gauges still don't. and radio still don't..
my bro reinstalled. the bulbs.

Ok everything works
tailights work
fogs work
headlights work
lock/unlock works and beeps
gauge cluster lights up
radio lights up

but..
when locking/unlocking it doesn't flash the lights
the radio screen still wont turn on(only the lights when I turn on the cluster as stated before)
the tach speed gas temp gauges don't work

And now my right headlight doesn't go up.. it turns on but doesn't go up

The running theory is that his loose starter wire was arcing to ground, which blew an ACC fuse as well as the GAUGES fuse. Replaced both fuses and fixed the loose starter wire and it worked fine after that.

hey yall I just ran in to this some what same problem two night ago , my lights to my cluster gauges are not working along with my radio lights but the radio works i check this fuses and i found my tails and brake lights fuse was burnt out but didnt fix the cluster light problem i just replace my turn signal light bulb and this just happen day after . i do have sequencental tail light i install back in october but this problem im having is this first time having but i dont think that causing it can any one help!!!! please

That kit comes with wire nuts and not crimp connectors. If you used the wire nuts and they got wet, that could have led to the problem.
