lacr was a totally different deal . the property was owned by granite const. and they didnt renew the lease .stating that the rock under the track was too valuable fr them and they needed it for there many highway jobs . . here is the funny part . when they went after tha t rock they found it had been pulverized because of the many years of drag racing and was totally useless for them . hehe not only did they loose the lease of lacr but all they ended up with was pebbles . guess you could call the drag racers BAM BAM
