i told you ill give you 8 cars .... but on a side note im heading up that way early in the morning.

my first thought is a faulty 02 (even with them being new, one could be bad? )

the 02 sensors in the front and rear of the cat could be getting the same reading thus throwing that code. on your scanner did it say right or left side or was it just that scpecific p0420 code that pulled up

First you messed up by changing all 02s by getting p0420. Should of checked data to see how your front and rear o2's are fluctuating. All it was was an inefficient cat, second that aftermarket cat could be faulty if it sees the same activity on the front and rear o2.

And Are the o2's ACdelco? I've had a lot of problems with aftermarket o2's and also make sure you don't have any exhaust leaks by the o2 sensors and the cat
