Plasti dip just ends up getting a dirtyness to it that you can't wash off. Have you tried taking it to a autobody shop? The car might be oxidized and just needs to be buffed out. It will save you the most in the longrun

One day paint or macco is going to be your cheapest, honestly it cost more to paint it yourself then it does at those places

At those places, you are going to get what you pay for. A cheap price, for a shitty *** paint job. You'll have paint runs, and spots with almost no clear. It' your choice if you want it to look like *** or not.

dont make a decision based on how much its going to cost, make a decision based on how long you are going to keep your car... If you plan on keeping it couple of years and then moving on then dont paint or go to macco but if you plan on keeping it longer wait until you get more money to do it right... Just my two cents...

Paint doesn't stop you from driving your car Chris... Just keep saving until you can afford to do it right.

This, especially if you're going to be keeping the car for a bit. No paint in having to repaint the car every 3 years from a shitty paint job.

Good, cheap, paint job.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

Took the words outta my mouth. One thing is a good price but a good paint job done right is never really cheap. If you do use one of those bargain paint shops, pay for extra clear coats and get the car color/wet sanded after. That way you see the runoff and orange peel.

If cheap is the only concern, then Maaco, One-day paint, or Earl Scheib.

You can also get vinyl wrap online for pretty decent price, but it's not easy to apply on body panels with complex contours... But for example if the clear is gone one the hood, roof, and trunk, you could always wrap those areas in matte black.

besides oily fingerprints, and bug splats, matte vinyl is easier to clean than paint!
