Anyone here own a lsx car in south oc area? I never see any driving around unless I'm near la or in the ie. I have yet to see a nicely modified fbody locally whereas they were much more popular in Chicago

I am in the south OC (Trabuco Canyon) although I don't drive that much and my car (CTS-V) is for sale =D.

There are a few nice f-body's around here though. I regularly see a NBM Firehawk cruising around...

There used to be a Thursday night cruise in at the Fuddrucker's in Lake Forest (I'm not sure if it's still going or not). Aside from that and the Saturday Cars and Coffee in Irvine I am not sure of other weekly meets...

Ill check out fuddruckers again, there weren't any fbodies last time I went. Cars and coffee might have one or two on a good week, a lot more vettes here for sure.

Orange and Coto here. Not too many F-body's at Cars and Coffee. I rarely take my trans am to Cars and Coffee. Would like to start seeing more F-bodies show up as there are a ton of Mustangs. Cars and coffee is picky now and if you pull up with a stock sounding/looking beaten f-body the will most likely turn you away unless you're there before 6:20am.

There's the camaro nation meet on first Saturday of the month but its mostly 5th gen camaros also vettes and firebirds are more than welcome

my buddy has a white 99 ss with a vortech s/c..for now...and 45k miles, very clean. He works in Huntington and lives in lake forest. We don't really go to cars and coffee irvine anymore, more of the occasional meets like the random open houses and some cruises around here and such, if we're not at the shop haha.

Haha nice, I have seen that white ss at cars and coffee before, very clean. I have yet to see or hear a cammed ls1 camaro here though, plenty of cammed vettes and 5th gens but not fbodies

What's up guys..I don't live in Cali, but my parents do. Have been for about 5 years.

Well my dad used to have a 98 T/A he bought new. He totaled it in 09 by sliding out of control in the rain into a poll. Scary stuff..

Anyways, he's been wanting to get another for a while and I came across this gem just minutes from where they live (Dove Canyon)

So my questions is there good performance shops that can install headers, gears, custom tune etc...Not sure if he wants to cam it....

I should be visiting in late August. Maybe I will see some you guys around.
