Monterey Car Week Been a while since I've been on here but thought id share some info on Monterey Car Week coming up in August! It starts on the 11th and ends on the 17th, it's full of pretty much everything from lamborghini's, Corvettes, Pagani, mustangs, chargers, Saleen you name it! However, there is hardly any ls1 fbody turn
out. Hopefully some of you can make it out this year with your LS powered cars or any F bodied Car and we can arrange a drive down one of many great roads in the area. Most other Marques already have there drives/rallies setup, would be cool if we could get some LS motors out there too!

See you up here! BTW the Italian Stampede is heading out from LA to Monterey that Thursday you are heading up, so expect to see a couple exotics on your way over. I attached a link below with more details.

Sure there are "elitist" events but there are also countless car enthusiasts from all walks of life that attend/participate in these events. Sure there are some events that are catered more for the more expensive cars, but there are also those which are laid back and about a common appreciation for cars regardless of price. Monterey Historics, legends of autobahn, mecum auctions, the car parade/show in Pacific Grove, to name a few...

Among the countless car shows occurring next week for Monterey Car Week, a new event for 2014 has caught my attention, The Pebble Beach Classic Car Forum. This event/seminar brings together car enthusiasts and car journalists, drivers, designers. Included in this group of people are Jackie Stewart, Stirling Moss and Andrea Zagato.

Saw a really nice green LT1 Camaro and black t-top LS1 SS today at car show in pacific grove. A lot more modern American muscle seem to be making there way out this year! Also saw a Porsche Carrera GT w/some kinda body kit? And a Porsche 918 going for a drive...also a bunch of Aventador's, Huracan's, Gallardo's and a Veneno

Another great week full of cars, cars and more cars! Test drives of Ferrari's to Lamborghini Aventadors. From corvettes of all eras including Zr1 (c4 & c6), mustangs, panoz, Saleen S7, Ford GT, Shelby Cobras, Bugatti, Ferrari, Henessey Venom and just about any other car marque/tuner you could think of...looking forward to car week 2015! Will post pictures soon...
