Uhhh, I don't know about that. My car has an open downpipe, no muffler. But they also did not make me start my car for the tech inspection. You SHOULD be ok on the noise part. Just the basic stuff: Up to date cert Helmet, proper clothing, battery tie down, adequate coolant overflow, etc.

If you go on a test and tune day (normally Saturdays), they are less strict on the noise but still just as strict on everything else. It will cost more to run then a normal open strip day though.

Motorcycle helmet is fine. I think it just needs to be SNELL 2005 approved. As for your battery, if it is not secure, they wont let you in. I have seen people use a normal tie down strap (ratcheting style preferred) and they let them through. Main point is to make the battery seem like it is mounted solid and not going anywhere. Make sure you also have a coolant overflow in working condition. If your car leaks oil, you might want to give the oil pan a quick wipe down before you go. If they see it dripping, you will get denied. If you are going to run slicks, you better have the correct studs and nuts sticking out. Its all the little things they get you on.

People here have been saying low 11s with my set up but based on what we did today it feels impossible people are even saying 11s without cams and pure bolt ons
Idk what to believe .

Full bolt on stock ls1 should hit high 12's

Heads/cam and bolt ons should be in the mid to low 11's

Autos usually have a better chance at these numbers with a good converter, m6's take more skill and slipping the clutch off the line.
