I've gotta question for you guys. Im probably selling my car to a guy who lives in Texas. Do I have to smog it here (Socal)? Its got LTs on it which are legal in Tx, but not in Ca. I've never sold a car like this before, so any tips you guys could give me would be great! Thanks!

Click here you lazy bum. ;-) If your car is registered in another state you've got to have a mailing address there. So, why not just get a drivers license there also?
It wont be too long before the EPA makes all states comply with emissions tests.

States volunteered to sign up with the EPA so they could continue to get Federal Funds for highway repairs/maint, etc. 13 states did not sign with EPA and don't have smog laws.
The address shown on my Nev DR is not the residence but is the Mailing Address. You can have any mailing address after you get the initial license. My Nev DR has a Calif mailing address and I live in Calif (mostly) but keep the car registered in Nev. I drive to Vegas once a year, get my OBD II check, eat a big Prime Rib and drive back. They never open the hood on the smog check because the computer tells them all is well.
Contact the Nev DMV on-line and see what they require for registration. Search: State of Nevada
