Warranty This is not directed at anyone at all....But in light of recent posts I thought I would comment on this.
If you buy a truck and proceed to modify it past stock, why do you think the dealer should be responsible for it? I bought my truck and pretty much wiped my A$$ with the warranty within 3 days and 300 miles. I understand that most repairs are expensive, especially when it comes to the trans or motor, but if you play you pay IMO.
OK, that was a vent, I feel better now.
On to your regularly scheduled programming.

man i hope evryone with warranty questions reads this post. any time any vehicle at any time is altered other than factory the warranty can and most likely will be voided. ok now i feel better to.

I posted this more or less so people can get the "idea" of what the factory warranty is all about.

Im getting the dredded steering wheel clunk/rattle that i want fixed under warranty. (not supercharger related) They cannot say no can they? Will they make a fuss?

Like I stated in the past. It really depends on your relationship with the Service writer and Manager. They can only void the engine and trans anyhow. I know there are several supporting dealerships in the Bay area. I will post up a few on Monday.
This is a acceptable Warranty claim IMO. I just dont like to see people take them in for stuff they know broke due to the modifications.

Also, from what I've been told from my Uncle (Goodwrench mechanic) is that most dealerships won't deny you warranty if you put an aftermarket exhaust on and your wiper blades fail to work. I believe the aftermarket part has to be directly responsible for the OEM failure. That being said, some dealerships don't follow that. My Uncle also recently told me that after some ignition issues on cars where the owner has installed a remote starter, they won't even look at until the remote start is removed by the owner or by the mechanic because 99% of the time the remote start system install or the unit itself is the cause of the problem.
