Default Question on long tubes and intake in CA

I have quite the dilema on my hands. I am planning on purchasing a ls6 intake but not sure which one to get because of my FLP long tube headers obviosly they dont have a hook up for the egr so what do you guys do with all the egr crap do you run a block off plate on the intake untill smog then throw your stock manifolds back on?
Is it worth spending the extra money on the intake for the provision?
will this throw some type of code that would be flagged when smogged?
Can the code be dissabled with my hp tuners so it doesnt bring attention to the tech?
I think I can get passed on the vissual Im just not sure if deleating the egr will come up when they scan the odbII?
Any help would be great. This is the last part I need to finally get my car Back on the road after a year!!! Please help me make a dissision.
ps not going to buy the lsx just dont have the funds right now.

Default

the ls6 intake does not have egr, so the headers you have will be fine, you will throw a code for your your egr which you can delete from the pcm
