Default Colorado Emissions? Little Help please.

Has anyone had problems passing emissions with LTs? I just bought some Pacesetters and I do plan to keep the cats and EGR/AIR. Will I have problems with the sniffer test?

It will not pass the visual part of the inspection due to the relocation of the cats...that is if you have a visual in your state, I am not sure on that.

But LT's and cats will pass with a tune no problem.

Im in the Thornton / Wesminster area. I havenever seen them do a visual on my car before (though Ive never had the TA down for emissions yet). And yes, they put the tube behind the car to check it.

depending where in Colorado, it could be no emissions, just 4 gas sniffer test, or load testing on rollers.....it depends where! in the areas that do have emissions they sometimes check that all the correct emissions components or there, but won't care that the cats are in a different place! like I said this is not california....all states are different!

I never had a problem passed just fine with LT,s and High flow cats. They never even looked under the car. Sniffer test on the rollers and PASS.
This was at the station in Parker. Now after F/I it was a whole different story, all I can say is thanks for the Hawk.
