WTB: Shorty headers for 98-99 Z28
Brand isn't too important to me. I would prefer them coated, but painted, chrome, nickel, etc. is fine too. I need the seller to be near Palm Springs, though, so I can drive and see them, first. Makes life simpler.
EDIT: Oh yeah, needs to be CA smog legal =/.

It's a daily driver, so I can't do heads/cam, FI, or anything else too drastic. I prettymuch need it to stay 100% smog legal, and running strong. Which means I really can't do much but exhaust and bolt-ons, so every little bit counts.

Exhaust wise everything from cat on back can be replaced. So all kinks and bends can be addressed. you have a y pipe coming you just need a inexpensive muffler system like magnaflow or hooker and i am sure any exhaust shop has em in stock!
I wish I could go true duals

I had JBA's, but have since stepped up to longtubes. If you want to reach your goal of 350 rwhp, your gonna need longtubes. With your planned mods you should dyno similar to what an 01+ car would with a catback and lid. I would guess somewhere in the 32x rwhp range. If you don't want to have to deal with heatsoak(hp loss) and extra weight, I'd go for an LS6 intake and not the Weiand. I would do longtubes if at all posssible, but if you must run shorties they are definately better than the stock 98-99 manifolds and little better than the 00-02's. While the gain over the 00-02's isn't much as evidenced by dyno graphs, comparing the two you can see that shorties are a better design even than the late model manifolds.

I just don't want to go through the hassle of switching off the LT's every couple years =/. And I don't have any smog shop "buddies", either.
EDIT: Oh, I'm looking at LS6 intakes as well. However, down here in PS, heatsoak isn't really much of a 'will it happen,' more of a 'how long 'til it happens.' Things tend to be that way in 110* heat.
