Legal mods are like mentioned above C.A.R.B. approved intake, shorty headers and Cat-Back. That's it-period.
You can get a tune, or better yet see Rick at SynergyMotorsports in Fremont for a Dyno tune. Rick is the Man! This is your best mod available.

AFR 205s have a carb # as does (I believe) the Vortech s-trim blower. I would think with alchohol injection, that combo should be worth in excess of 600rwhp. In fact I pretty sure A&A Corvette has been there done that.
