Default Selling brother's '05 GTO (LS2 A/T) - CA

Hey guys.
New to the forums. Just wanted to get the word out on a pretty good deal for anyone interested.

My little brother is off to Navy Bootcamp, followed by 23 weeks of Submarine School. He called and asked me to put his '05 Goat up for sale because he can't make the payments while in training. Details below:

This is straight out of Kelly Blue Book. He owes 300 more than this price, which I'll cover to release the title.

Seems that most people that have called or inquired are looking for the manual too. I heard though that one of the magazines (C&D or R&T) consistently pulled faster 1/4's with the A/T. Driver maybe? All I know is I drive it about twice a month so it doesn't get "stale" and it's a beast! :p

Thanks for reply. Spread the word.

That's usually the case. Stock for stock the auto usually wins.

Sure is. Sitting in the exact same spot even. Could use a wash, but hasn't seen a single mile since my first post. I start it and let it idle about once a week just to keep the oil moving.

I think he said he'd take $25k. He's in submarine school in CT for the next 6 months.

Let me know if you want more info.

Hey, don't know if I pm'd you about this, but how is it financed? The reason I ask is because if its a lease through GMAC, it can be transferred. Thanks.

I know it was a purchase. Not sure if it was through GMAC or not. I can get with my brother for all those details.

The car looks great. I would like to go see it and maybe take it for a spin. My GF is looking for a GTO. What color is the interior and how set is the price?

No need to. If it's a purchase I would have to re-apply anyways. I'm just looking for a way to get it or finance it in such a way that I could plop down $10k in cash if I decide to sell my firebird a month down the road.

If it was a lease, then it would be easy because I could keep my bird until the lease end.

Thanks.

Sure...I'll PM you my cell number. It's kinda crazy right now cuz we're moving in 2 weeks (same area), but I think we can meet up and check it out.
Interior is black and blue.

BUMP!!!!

Hey guys. Not on this forum very much, but thought I'd bump this.

My brother ships to Japan on 8/23 and I need to sell this for him before then. Still only has 12,102 miles. He's willing to take $23,000 for it. He's taking a loss of over $2000 to get rid of it so he doesn't have to make payments and full-coverage insurance while he's overseas.

Help a Sailor out!

That is ONE hell of a deal... someone better jump on that... I'd buy it, but I have too many projects as it is.

Just verifying it has the blue interior, right? Wifey hates the blue or red interior.

Ha ha, it's more like trying to reduce the nag potential, and she's a convenient excuse.

Plus, I prefer the gray interior.
