I just bought a purple 1998 camaro z28. Im looking for some new people to hang out with that can show me the ropes to the ls1's.
I live near Cal State Fullerton. If anyone is near or around i wouldnt mind hanging out on the weekends or whenever free.

i live in Anaheim....brookhurst and the 5 frwy....you should check out the doughnut shop meet up on sat mornings....magnolia and adams over in huntington beach. If you want to check out some street races PM me and we can hook up...purple is a rare friggin color man...!!!

Well, since everyone one is around here somewhere. WHy not meet up?

I just got my z for about 10 days now. Im still learning everything! ive been reading so much on this site, i think i even dream about reading about the ls1.

anyways, why not set up a day where we can all meet up with our cars and see what we can do. maybe grab something to eat and bs.

So, it sounds like people are actually interested in meeting up.
Lets throw out some times and places to meet. Some where around Fullerton State that way i can find my way around (Im from sacramento).

Hm... im busy during the weekday, stupid school. Friday nights and saturday during the day or night pretty good for me.

not really sure what we can do but hangout and get something to eat. im pretty new to my car so im still learning. looking forward to meet you guys and leanring more about the cars.

There is a couple of car shows every Friday afternoon and Saturday mornings, the Friday one is in Garden Grove, corner of Euclid Ave. and Garden Grove Blvd, a few f-bodies show up over there around 5-6pm...

The Saturday shows start @6AM, that's right, 6 in the morning

The two shows are pretty popular, first one @6AM is called Donut Derelicts, LOTS of nice cars over there, there's anywhere from 1 to 8 4th gen f-bodies that show up, also quite a few ls1 & ls6 & ls2 & ls7 Vettes that show up over there...

The secon one on Saturday is around 7AM, it's at Crystal Cove in Newport Beach on PCH, lots of exotics over there, you'll see a few f-bodies & GTO's over there as well.
