Default Hemet

Anyone race in Hemet anymore? I've been racing track only for a long time now, but remember hearing in the late 90's that Hemet was the place to be for some hardcore street racing.

I think you better look into racing in Ontario. I remember when I still lived in Riverside last summer that Ontario was the spot, import or domestic. However, be advised that they have their own police unit dedicated to street racing. LOL.

ontario or hemet, both a bust, the ricers have ruined both of them.

Ryne is right. I started going to Ontario back in 1993 and it was awesome. Several trailered cars (vegas, novas, camaros, darts, etc). But, then the ricers started taking over, and it's been that way for years. I heard Hemet was good back in the day because the tracks were out in the middle of nowhere and the cops wouldn't hassle people as much. The ricers are even taking over California Dragway nowadays!

compton?? been there once got a gun pulled on me, cops are enough to worry about let alone guys with guns, ontario ha ha i know a ontario cop, he tells me that the police let the ontario not get a few times, let it get built up big, and then bust them all, and impound/ arrest a whole bunch of people. if you want to get busted go to ontario, lol. there are no good spots anymore, in a major city, you have to go in the middle of nowhere.

Compton races bring cars that pull the wheels. You just have to know where to go. Out here there is a ton of rice, but some decent spots that are hit and miss.
