Default I need a T56 Tranny!!

The shop I just had my motor install forgot to add tranny fluid, thus the tranny is locked up and at another shop as I type this. It may be cheaper to just have it rebuilt, but if I can find someone local with the tranny then I would definately be interested in purchasing it. I could go auto on it, but I'm choosing not to. So please hit me up if you have a 6 Speed for an LS1.

Thanks,
Flash-

The shop that forgot to add the fluid is the one that should be getting you the transmission. Make them buy you a brand new one.

Yes I did the work on your car.I will not comment on my replacement or replacements @ Don lee Auto.(Tim is still a friend of mine)aside from his business.I left Don Lee Auto to work with Rob @ Strickly Performance but the drive from Fontana to Van Nuys was to much for me daily. But Rob is also still a good friend of mine even though I am nolonger there. He helps me out alot by offering me a place to work on my Cars there at his shop and lending me a hand when needed.PM me if you need anything.

Good to know that it wasn't Don Lee Auto, but I know that if it was Tim would make it right. But I am not sure about LPR. Good Luck.

Oh, I thought you guys were friends, yeah not at all Tim's fault. Don Lee's have always been good, and straight forward with their work. Yeah I tried to go the cheap way again, and WHAM got bent over. It seems that LPR and me just dont work out. Sometimes you wanna give the work to someone who needs it, and even pay them more then what they quoted you. In the long run it always turns out the same, should have just paid more in the begining and save yourself a bunch less money in the long run.

Funny thing is LPR doesnt answer his phone, then I call block it and he picks up... says to call back, I do and no answer. I need to pick up the rest of my parts at his shop and part ways. I did get a T56 for $1500 tonight, so it will be in first thing tomorrow, and the shop will DEFINATELY make sure the tranny fluid is in it. Rookie mistakes, cost mega money.

To top it off I asked LPR to just give me a kick back, just something, **** if it covered my towing cost I would have been happy. Instead he places the blame on the shop that removed the tranny stating it was them who drained it. EVEN SO, you should always check fluids especially when you hear the whine from the tranny.

Anyways just pisses me off to even think about it.
