Car stolen and returned in no less than 30 minutes

Car stolen and returned in no less than 30 minutes so off topic but its not needed to make a new post
funny story:
so i came home from hanging out with michelle and i walked in the door and my youngest brother chad *josh you know who he is, he came with us* was like chris why was the garage door open all day and why was the door to the garage unlocked.
I pondered well i dunno so i open the door and WOA no car. And funny thing....i had the keys in my hand. So i was like hmmm this is odd.....so i call my mom and i asked do you know where my car is? and she responded no so i was like oh **** someone stole my car.
So i cal lmy friend so we can go drive around and look for it and i call my grandfather asking to bring a car over so i am able to go to school the next day. While I was on the phone i hear a VROOMMMMM *churp* vrooommmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I was like hmmm that actually sounded a lot like my car. So my friend *jon who has the black trans am* was like ok hey man lets go real quick. So we drive and didnt see anything and i told jon, well they are gone now.
My grandfather shows up 2 minutes later and said hey chris i just saw you car and some guys in it flooring the car. I was like oh **** they went down a street i know..so i dial 911 and i said...hi im chris blah blah my car was stolen and they are going down an area that you can catch them right now, they are going south on coral gables and if you can you can meet up with them on thunderbird road, they only have two ways of getting out...7th st and 19th avenue. The dispatcher was like ok hold on and i told them the information about the car.
Literally 2 minutes later i hear a helicopter flying over my house im like huh...i noticed it said police and i was like oh ****..i see it going south still then it just stopped...and starting going west, i was thinking hell yeah thats for me.
I get a call no less than 10 minutes later saying yeah we need to confirm this is your car. so i told them the information, and they said yes we found your car and the dispatcher said hold on..and i hear in the background 10-4 suspect fleeing on foot i was like **** yeah they caught those bastards. so they caught the guys and will be prosecuting them and that was awesome....im going to post this actually to hear that stolen cars actually get returned..
im surprised they wanted to steal an LT1.
the best part was they left their cds in the car so i got free cds and the one they had in there was pretty badass so im listening to it. but my car is acting odd so im gonna get it checked out.

i know and another piece of the key is still in the ignition so im using the broken key they used to start the car for now until i can get it out haha.

that would have been badass to see my car in a police chase and have it on worlds most dangerous police chases and be like oh man that was my car!!!!!!! and get a new LS1 of course for it

I am glad you got your car back. This story is one of the few positive ones in stolen car situations. Any idea who these guys were that took it? Im thinking its one of your friends or someone that knows you in some way. Was your V.A.T.S disabled? Or how would they know what resistor value would start your car? Weird.....
