The launch of SoCal-Racing.com is the birth of an online community dedicated tothe large group of automotive enthusiasts in Southern California. This area is in need of a strong community where they can enjoy their love of all things automotive. Southern California is the birthplace of Hot Rodding and Automotive performance culture, and enjoys one of the most active base of racers, performance enthusiasts, and car/truck/bike modifiers in the world. The areas of Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Inland Empire/Riverside, and Ventura County are home to over half a million hardcore auto enthusiasts, whether you are talking about street performance, drifting, drag racing, road racing, auto-x, sport compact, domestic, classic, or Truck.
Yet, in the online world, there is no single Southern California forum or web site that exists to bring everyone's love of cars together. Although there are a few local Mustang, Sport Compact, or niche specific sites, there is no equivalent to www.tamparacing.com or www.racingsouthwest.com - forums that bring together an entire community to share the hobby they dig. Whether to talk about upcoming events, discuss tech help and local shops that perform the work, or to organizing track days -- Southern California is way behind the times in the digital world. We aim to change that with the help of everyone who lives in Southern California and loves cars, trucks, or bikes.
One of the most exciting parts of the SoCal-Racing.com community will be the local events which will be organized and available to all members. From Dyno Days at the top southern California speed shops to private track rental days, SoCal-Racing.com will be a hub for southern California’s active motorsports community!
Besides an active Message Forum, SoCal-Racing.com will also include a Photo Gallery and eventually powerTV’s signature Video Sharing technology. Help us spread the word!
