When I moved from San Diego Qualcomm was still the Murph and Carlsbad was the only 1/4 mile track in the county. So there are 1/8 strips at Qualcomm and Barona ... any 1/4 or others?

Fontana has a 1/4th mile, I think there is also Perris. Those are both over an hour away.

Fontana is NHRA, so you'll have to deal with strict tech's.... Palmdale (LACR) is the only non-NHRA 1/4 mile track I know...

Thanks, guys. Perris is over an hour, but it is a lot closer than Fontana - about halfway between Temecula and Riverside on 215.

HI,

Perris is eighth mile not quarter. It is a parking lot like the Q
and both have there issues. Barona is a nice eighth mile facility
and the only dedicated dragstrip in San Diego County.
The closest quarter mile is Fontana which is 100 miles away.
I plan to be at Fontana this weekend to run SuperChevy this weekend.

Carlsbad raceway closed aug 04. Alot of people complained about that track
but I had about 9000 passes down that track and really miss it.

Hope this helps,
Gary
