Default DMV and Rollers

I'm parting my car out and am going to sell it as a roller. Is there anything special that I have to do with the DMV before I let it go? Obviously there'll be no smogging, will I have to pay any expenses?

If the tags are good do a PNO on it when they come due. sell it on a statement of facts stating this is a project car as is etc not resonsible for ****.

Thanks man. Is the statement of facts an actual form from dmv or just like a notarized signature?

type out on your computer a statement that says..I understand this vehicle is sold as-is and is inoperable in its current condition. Any and all repairs are responsibility of the new owner.Smog will be the new owners responsibilty after repairs are completed.
