damn are u scared of ur little tuner already?! i thought u had more confidence in ur buddy haddad. one reason y they blow on dynos is cuz they take the engines to a pretty high rpm to get the results, mind u they r still tuning them to get maximum hp and r basically trying everything to get the best results. that means they try a few pulls on the dyno and tune it on every pull some engines just cant take it or the tuner makes a mistake and ran it too lean or off timing greatly. haddad is probably ridding ur gurl at 7200 rpm trying to get 420hp out of that engine lmao!!!! no but seriously she'll be fine he's just popping her cherry something u were always scarred to do

alot things could cause it
1. bad tune
2. motor in disrepair
3. overreving the motor
4. over boosting/spraying a stock motor or any motor thats not capable of handling that much cylinder pressure.

I think the biggest risk is from a lack of cooling. They just about always run with the hood up and a large fan, but it still might not be enough for a really high output engine on a basically stock cooling system.

Ahhh, thats your Black C5 there? Was up there a few days ago and noticed the valve covers off. I wouldn't worry about blowing it up on the dyno. LS Motors are hella strong. Mikes not gonna bring it above 6700RPM....
