As many of you have read already , my friend, member Mr_president (formerly tondss), was T-boned by a drunk driver. He is doing better but does have injuries. It looks as if the guy that hit him has no insurance and Mr_president has no health insurance. I know him personally, and know that his single mom does not have the capabilities to cover the necessary medical expenses. We all know his passion was racing his camaro and making a bunch of cool videos.

I will be the first to make a donation to help get his expenses taken care of, and back on the road again. If there is any extra money after the expenses, Mr_president has talked to Nineball and agreed to donate them to the site. Any little bit helps guys, he needs to see a few specialists for his injuries that requires money up front......in order to put that idiot behind bars who was drunk doing 100mph on the wrong side of the road.

tondss@hotmail.com is his paypal account

Hope you get it worked out Tony!

I'll probably chip in as soon as I get paid next week .... Same EXACT thing happened to me a few years back. I ended up with a fractured spine and knee. Tell him to find a lawyer who will take him on with a contingency,....right away!!. (that way he only pays the lawyer if he wins!)....

Thankfully he had a roll-cage!

I hope he gets well and receives the medical attention he needs. There are a lot of medical programs that offer some sort of medical insurance. Have him go to the public health department and they should be able to direct him to someone that can help with radiology, orthopedics, chiropractic, etc. I hope they get stuff sorted out with that guy and stuff. At least he's off the road and in jail.

I'll buy his Sunoco hood off of him if he needs some money.

Damn, hope Medicare/Medicaid can help him out.

Note to self: make sure I have uninsured motorist coverage along with my personal healthcare coverage.

They should just shoot drunk drivers on the head if they get caught.

it happens in alot of south american countries...i just did a 10 page report. it would work great here, heres a quote from my paper:

In Australia those who are found drinking and driving have their names printed in the local paper under the heading, “He’s drunk and in jail.” They also are served with fines and jail time. In Malaysia, the drunk driver is jailed, and if he or she is married, their spouse is jailed as well. In South Africa, the drunk driver is jailed for ten years and/or fined $10,000USD. Turkey’s punishment is a mental one: the drunk driver is taken twenty miles out of town and forced to walk back, still drunk. San Salvador and Bulgaria have the harshest punishments: first-timers are jailed, but repeat offenders are executed (Loyola).

it's called Pro bono... I bet that you could definitely get a few lawyers to take the case... Good luck man... Don't let them keep the man down... Keep on trucking
