Here's the model specs for the P-1SC

http://www.procharger.com/models.shtml

I think it can do 10 - 14 psi, but it also depends on your combo.

It can boost the same as a D1Sc..the advantage in the upgrade for Jody is the CFM rating of hte D1sc......I too am planning on upgrading when I can.

Good luck.

Price
More power with D1 with same size pulley (CFM rate)

It really depends on what your plans are and the $$ you have. If you want to eventually go Forged and have nice power...In the long run, it iwll be best to get the D1 now and run the largest pulley for the lower boost, until you can dot he internals. If you jsut want nice DD with some power, then a P1sc would be more than enough. The D1 unit can give you more power with the cfm it flows...that is the main difference. As to which one to get........that is up to you.

P1 is CARB approved with an executive order number assigned. It is legal for use in California. D1 is not.

It's hard to say. It depends on a lot of things: 383 or 355, heads, cam, etc.

BTW, thanks ponygt65 and SSpeedracer for help answering the post

Very good point....forgot to make that one.

Jody - No problem. I am just glad I could help when I could.

kbron - As Jody says, there are too many variables. What other mods done to the car? What motor? What size pulley (boost)? It will also depend on the tune.
