Still trying to learn this camera. I have no idea what half the things do. I started to read up last night at what settings do what and that. Here are some pics

Ruckus how do you like the camera? Pics look great I am trying to get into photography would you recommend this camera? Can I ask how much you purchased it for?
Did you photochop any of those photos? or just straight uploaded?

no photoshop just used the software the camera comes with to touch them up a little. the hdr's i used some program forgot what the name was. Camera is really easy to use and takes great pics. I paid 443.50 for the camera brand new

I got it here on base at the bx, but its the same kit that best buy has on sale this week for 505. Its a nikon d40. Think it comes with a 1 year warranty from nikon and of course could do extended through best buy

Have had the same camera for a few months and still learning all the features. It takes great pictures.

I thought about this one but decided to go with the Canon Rebel XTi b/c of the higher MP and more focus points.

Great pics, though, no doubt at all. They will only get better as you learn.

I know exactly how you feel, I have your camera's cousin... the Canon Rebel Xti and your photos look like you've learned yours a bit more than I have...
