Are you kidding? if you dont call steve at RED you're a foolish man. He's in socal too. For a dry sleeved ls2 youre looking at about 2800. For a MID ls1 block youre looking at about 3500.

I met Steve and toured his shop, he's a good guy and will blow your mind with knowledge. I'm sure you'll figure out he helped develop those sleeves.
Had a sweet-*** pool table in his living room.... with internal engine parts on it. As a lover of both billiards and cars, I had to hold down both the cry and admiration reflex.
Last I checked, he was a sponsor too.

Call him and ask, I believe they do everything from purchasing, seasoning, prep and the actual sleeve installation.
Big daddy is right, Steve worked with darton to develop the sleeves used in the LS series motors and is extremely knowledgeable. He will even build shortblocks if his time permits.
The correct link is above, you can't go wrong with RED. I believe the only other place in the US worth using for sleeving is ERL. They're on the East Coast and is who places over there, like Cartek uses to sleeve their motors.

steve is only about 30 miles from my shop, he has done quite few of my sleeving, if you want you can drop the block off at my shop and i could take care of it for you at a fair price, and even do the build on the short block. i also have a ls1 block here at my shop that i could have sleeved in exchange for your block plus sleeving costs. let me know

wet or dry sleeves is it a ls2 block or ls1 block
wet sleeves labor for install $1175
dry sleeves labor for install $750
rod notches in sleeve to clear big stroke $75
bore it , to .005" under just need to hone , i need to call on that price.
if you have a 00 and earlier ls1 block then you need a MID wet sleeve, it is the only one that works.
if you have a ls2/l92/ls7 you can dry sleeve and MID wet sleeve it.
if you need additional machining done, beyond a doubt go to grubbs motorsports in valencia, awesome machine shop, never had a problem using them.
