should have been 1 hour labor for welding and 1 hour for removal of lower arms, prepwork and assembly.

$140 at the most.

Ive had alot of fabrication done on my chassis and for brackets i tend to pay 1hr labor per set.

slightly off topic, but to install the bolt on ones, you just jack up the car, bolt up the brackets, and bolt up the LCAs? theres no tention on the LCAs when the car is up, right?

but thats not the case in his scenario rite?

i could be wrong, but i also think they sell them to bolt up to the 12 bolt and 9 inch rear ends aswell. you would just have to specify when purchasing.

It's my fault obviously..I should have asked him how much for the install..I guess I will hold the worlds record for paying the most money to install these things

Car has been at his shop since 9am & he still needs tomorrow to finish, he said he got a late start..I needed them installed by the weekend for Famoso.I had limited resources..I have calmed down a little bit, It's only money, right? He said he was going to paint them too, maybe that's worth the extra $100?

It happens....

When ever agreeing to pay hourly for a service you should always have a written estimate.

Since you are paying a premium for the service inspect the welds and make sure YOU like how they look, if you are unhappy have him, be polite and explain to him that you don't like the welds and would like them ground down and re-welded. If he objects then ask him to include a warranty on the labor he performed for X amount of time.
