he claims to have finished his K20 swap on his EK civic and saw my myspace and says he wants to race me. should i be worried. i went through google and youtube and looked and k20 swaped EK civics and the ones i saw are running low 14s to mid 13s,but i did see one running 13.05 and that one made me a little bit, what do you guys think.

Go from a dig, those cars have so many traction issues. As long as you have good rubber on your car you should be fine.

Local kid around here had one and he could never get it to hook. Best I ever saw out of him was 2.19 short times.

Which K20 is it? Theres only like 15 different ones... (looking on wiki) they range from 140 HP to 222 HP at the high end stock. Which would still only put maybe 150-160 to the wheels in stock form? I guess if he's spraying/turbo it'd be something to worry about... but if its stock.... I bet my tractor is faster.

Im pretty confident you will beat him, even if he is the one running 13.05s, because stock F bodys can run those times with great tires.

So if that K20 did 13.05s on slicks, you are good.

if he did that on stock tiures, its rather quick. Id be a little worried, but regardless top end you will pull hard.

street tire to street tire u should beat him . . . .and a dont be scared of turbo'd be more afraid of nitrous. . trust me. theres a few around her on nitrous and are running 11's and they dont have to use it till they hook up..
