Default SoCal shops-3in over axle TDs, anyone?

Looking for a local shop that will build me a 3 inch true dual system from the headers back...want an X pipe, pipes run over the axle, mufflers mounted in the rear of the car.

I have heard Cunningham Motorsports has done some TDs but I havent heard about any over-the-axle setups.

I anyone has had it done or knows of any shops I would really appreciate the help...prices would be awesome! Thanks guys.

Yep, I hear you bro.

I have a TD set-up waiting for install in my garage.

From the header, 3in reducer to 2.5in piping, bullets dumped at the axle. If I want to have it brought out back, which I'm preparing to do dependent upon the sound, I'm going to Cunningham MotorSports (CMS). That whole complex they're in is a motorsports complex. If I went to my local muffler guy, he'd have to go 5+ miles down the road to get a mandrel bend. On top of that, most local guys are not specialists with our cars. Who wants that when you can go to someone who knows our cars???

I'm not speaking on behalf of CMS, I'm not a spokesman or nutswinger, I'm only speaking from what I would do and who I would trust.

On a side note, don't go to someone based on price. Go to someone who KNOWS.

yes we can build dual 3inch over the axle, you just need to get the UMI/BMR panhard relocation bracket.

Mine's waiting until I get my registration notice within the next few weeks and I figure out what I'm going to do about smogging it.

how do you like the sound, will? I've got the 4"x9" magnaflows 3" in/out with an X that I fabbed myself and it's still very loud. The idle also sounds crappy with the X compared to straight pipes, but it SCREAMS at WOT.

You can get TD's with mid lengths. Your just gonna have to get custom ones like those from CMS. The Texas Speed duals are meant for LT's

I might just do that then. I'll probably call Ryne and get a quote. I'm in the process of getting some ZR1's and a Superhawk Hood.

it probably wouldn't be difficult to add a pair of 45's to the front of the TSP duals to make them merge.. just a thought.
