Crashed the Rental Car Last Night
And Yes I had the insurance on the car
Goin down the 110 S last night the car in front of me moves to the fast lane real quick and exposes some Jackhole stopped on the freeway.
I found out later from the towtruck he was likely rubber necking the accident on the other side of the Freeway.
So I hit the brakes (not a full stomp) and started to slide into the fast lane and the *** end of the car decides that it wants to lead. I could not let off and straighten out with out slamming into Jackhole. So the car comes around 180 and when they say you see a flash of light that was the headlights of the Tahoe inches from the driver door, just missing me as the front end hits the center divider and then slams the back end into it as well.
Of course jackhole drives off like nothing happened (boy would I love to have pounded that *****)
Not sure why the grand prix spun, ABS should have kept it straight, perhaps the due forming on the road made it slippery. But would not have happened in either T/A. Good thing it was not my car.

couldve been very little amounts of air in the rear brake line on the side that slid out making it kick out. rental places dont really do top notch repairs just so long as it runs and they make more money from less down time per car. ABS probably made it pulse thoes pockets.

I am with you there.. but that would have been a severe impact and likely I would have ended with a concussion and citation on my part. My impact was not too violent (less than bumper cars), even if the Tahoe had hit me we were both going in the same direction and my speed was only slightly less.

Ah sorry dude. Was on my way back from Vegas and did not have a camera on me. They towed it up to San Pedro. If it was mine I would have all kinds of pics today.
