Want your rims powder coated??
I decided a couple of weeks ago to get my rims powder coated black. I spoke to a guy, and he gave me an awesome deal.
If I get a few people intersted in doing it, the price will drop even more. As of right now, the price per wheel will be $60 each. Thats in gloss black.
i'm meeting with him tonight again at 7pm and if i get enough response by then, then I can tell him a rough number of rims to expect.
He's really cool and willing to work with me. (He even told me i could take him 1 rim at a time to so i can swap my donut slowly around my car.
Let me know by 6pm tonight, so I can give him an initial number. I can change the number anytime after.

^^^^Now that's a good idea. Anyone down for picking up a junker oven?
(I found this $125 for a industrial Powder Coating oven!!) I won't say where, just a shop closing near me.
That post is from like 4 yrs ago does the guy still do it for that price/even still work there?

Ya a normal oven will work. I had got one (bachelor size) but it was too small to fit the 19" C6 rim in so I have been waiting to get a regular size oven. Junker will work fine if it can reach 400, just a cheap one.
Waiting on the landload to replace one and get it for free.

Yup, i'm doing those exact wheels on my car... they'll be all done in 2 weeks or so.
I tried calling Brad, but the office was closed. I'm pretty sure that after almost 5 YEARS the price has climbed. If you're in the san Fernando Valley, and want to do a wheel at a time, then "my guy" can help ya.
