I must say that mustang is growing on me.Still think they should have used an BlackLs1 ws6 or hawk

It was a movie, not a pilot. It was considered a back door pilot, but not a real pilot...

Pilots are shot, shown to execs and if you ever see them it is because they were picked up for a half (mid-season replacement which can also later get the back picked up) or full season.

No execs were interested in the idea of a Knight Rider pilot and it was NOT funded . So they made a TV movie out of it hoping a lot of people would watch it and the ratings would warrant it getting offered a series... Looks like it will but from what I've heard around town it is not in production yet.
