Default MY assesment on M.T. E.T. streets DR's

For a while now I've been rolling on Yokohama AVS 100's. They've been ok in everyday driving. Once the engine, blower work and tune were complete, it's been like driving on skates. I broke down and ordered the Mickey Thompson E.T. Street Drag Radials (274/40/17) and had them mounted. I finally had a few chances to get on it from a stop, slow roll and 50ish. It is amazing how much they hook up and how fast I can get up to speed now. Nothing like my old Nitto 555R's. I reccommend them to anyone that needs a little more traction. I guess I should start planning for that new rear end now LOL.

Impressive set-up.

I personally have a long way to go to needing MTs on a daily basis, that would be nice though.

Thanks. This thing has been a work in progress that started in 03. I still have a few things to do and can't wait to finally finish.

I think the MT ET Street drag radials are the best thing going right now..I have had a set for a couple of years. I don't run them much on the street because I don't want to pick up a nail or anything..I think I heard people cutting 1.3x 60's

They do hook. If I would get on the gas just a little at a stop sign I would slowly spin across the intersection. I rolled out of a stop sign this morning with no one around and got into the gas. The feeling of being shoved into the drivers seat and the car getting to 60 so quick was something I haven't felt in a long time. Third gear down shifts from 50 thru 70 also yielded similar results.
