This happened on sunday on my way to the super chevy show. I was near oceanside on the 5 headding north and I was running late for the show. I ended up getting a ticket for doing 110mph. I didnt argue about the speed because i think i must have been doing 120ish or so. the CHP didnt have any upper lights or badging. So he got for over 100mph and over 65mph. What can i do at this point? he didnt put me down for reckless driving. who know what's going to happen now. I have 2 points on my record already.

well what can i do?I doubt i can fight it. Its not like i can say I was doing 65mph. the cop never showed me the radar, but like i said I know I was doing well over 100mph.

Do you have a clean record? If so, call the DA and ask for the ticket to be dropped to a non-moving violation and just pay the fine. That way it won't go affect your insurance.
