Default preparing to do the whistler mod tomorrow. need advice!!!

hey what up fellas well like the title says i need advice on how to do the whistler mod. can you please list the materials that i need along with the sort of paint to do this mod. thanks in advance!

masking tape, semi gloss 500 degree good paint, heat gun/oven, silicone. and i think thats it

^^^ Like the man says:

-Tape
-patients
-500 degree engine block paint
-patients
-An oven set at 250, and bake for 20mins.
-800/1000 grit wet sandpaper (if there is any yellowing, fogginess)
- plastic polish & microfiber cloth (same reason as above)
- big piece of cardboard/newspaper or wood (don't want to paint your floor/bench do you? )

if light yellowing, start 1000 go to 1500 then finish with 2000, and if u can find novas plastic scratch remover buy it!

cool thanks a lot fellas. i will be starting in an hour. i am going to get the materials right now. oh wait one question that plastic around the headlight should it be removed b4 i stick the headlight in the over or should i let stay there?

Do you mean the rubber seal or the plastic mounting bracket on the back of the light?

Neither need to be removed eitherway. Just take out the bulbs lol.

lol i am talking about the plastic seal in front not the back but anyways i wont remove. thanks for the info fellas...time to get to work..lol

i think takeing out the clips holding the lens b4 u put it in the oven would be a good idea
