LVCFO's : Camaro & Firebird Owners Weekend!

We are welcoming f-bodys from the surrounding states to spend the weekend with us in LAS VEGAS!
Yes other GM Vehicles are welcome

Friday, August 29th: LVCFO Group Meet / Car Wash: For those of you who want to get together wash your ride and unwind from the long drive. ** We will meet at the Hot Rod Grille at 8:30PM?** *Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=hot+rod+g ... d&z=14&t=m

Saturday, August 30th 8AM: Dyno Day : The Dyno will be at Doug's Dynopower in Henderson. The dyno is a 4 wheel Mustang dyno. We will have some cash prizes for playing the "Dyno Game" more on that when we get to the dyno. The first 10 Participants will meet up at the Palace Station Hotel Casino at 6:30am and roll out at 7:30am Sharp. The remaining participants can meet up at 7:30am and your group will roll out at 8:30am Sharp.
**Dyno 3 pulls a/f $60.00 – Food and Beverages will be provided**


Saturday, August 30 *Schedule Change: Immediately following the dyno we will head over to LVMS for some Drag Racing. The Hot Nevada Vette's have been nice enough to share the track with us. If you wish to race you need to preregister by Saturday, August 23rd.

Sunday, August 31st: Cruise, BBQ & Car Show: The Car Cruise will be up to Mt. Charleston, where the weather is much cooler. 80deg! We have a private parking lot reserved for us, where we can have our Car Show! And its a short walk over to the BBQ.
*We will meet at the Palace Station Hotel Casino In the Grand Cafe for breakfast at 9:00am for those of you who are early risers, from there we will head to the parking lot and roll out at 10:30.

Dyno: $60 3 pulls with Air/Fuel **Food and Beverages will be provided**
BBQ: $25
Car Show: $15
Drag Racing: $45.00

Sign-up: This year we need everyone to pre-order two weeks prior to the event, the earlier the better. Shirts will be given out to all those who pre-order or pay for an extra shirt! If your schedule is difficult, and you are not sure if you are going to make it out till we get closer ( like the week of) PLEASE contact me ASAP.

We look forward to seeing the Westbound crew down here. Sharing the track with PSCA = Long time between runs, and temps anywhere from 100-110 so this year we are going to focus on keeping everyone cool and having a good time.

Sounds good to me cause last year we had a couple cars tailored out there just for 1 run it really wasnt worth the time but yeh i will spread the word for sure and btw found out what my problem was at the track the underdrive pulley was coming off snapping belts and pissing me off lol

With your crew and the other club still throwing the LV Invasion event it seems that it will split the crowd that does decide to go to Vegas and make 2 smaller events. Also seems a bit combative to compete with a similar event on the same weekend. Have your clubs been able to talk about this weekend maybe do a co-op to make for one big event? I'm still undecided about which event(s) I will be going to might even do a mix of both.

Unfortunately talking with the other club is not an option... And that is why there are now 2 clubs. They have little to no information about the event, and dont seem to have the drive or members to back doing an event... but they are more then welcome to join ours.

We are the old club (lvfbody). All of the active members (minus 3-4) have moved to LVCFO.org (not .com, lvfbody bought the site to detour people). With the addition of many new members, our number of active members has more than doubled since the move (used to be 6-8 cars per meeting, we are now consistently over 20). You are more than welcome to attend either, but if you want to see Fbodies and hang out with some amazing people... we are the club to hang out with. If you want to see 3-4 grumpy old men (1-2 with fbodies), please attend the other event. lol.

LVCFO had over 10 cars attend LA INVASION, Lvfbody had none. We are the largest Fbody club in Las Vegas.

But enough of the past... We just want to be around awsome cars, meet new friends and have a fabulous time. So thats what were doing, we invite you to join us... and hope that you do!
