Default The 408 comes home!!!
Finally, what started out as the "Turbo engine rebuild thread" has come home with a 408 heads cam car instead. Had tranny issue for a long time finally got it sorted out today! Engine is TSP 408 stroker, PRC stage 3 heads, l76 intake, 90 mm tb, underdrive, 248 254 .617 .626 112 cam, 62 lber's, 12:1 compression.
Built 4l60e, 4000 stall. link to her at idle!!! turn up the speakers!!!

sucks there is not anything better than the l76 manifold which was designed for a passenger car. Car sounds mean, but its being choked by the manifold. Do you have it dyno tuned? What kind of numbers did she put down?

love the choppiness of that cam....why such overkill on the injectors though? planning on a big dry hit?

Could it be Mroverkills idea to overkill the injectors! I asked the same question. He said something about a 200 shot or something!!!!! hahaha!!! yeah we know about the intake, it's good up to about 6k then it goes flat. But, there's nothing out there right now that's alot better. Better yes, alot no.
