Anyone got a maf for sale? I f'd mine up lastnight.

well i looked at his maf and it seems ok. we finished porting it. i think its the IAT valve in his TB. he cleaned it when he put in his ported tb and it might not be gapped correctly. the car runs fine other than the high idle.

off topic but did you guys notice a difference in performance after porting the stock maf?

Its a little hard to tell. I also put in a ported tb and a lid. There is a big difference though.

Dave the exhaust will be here this week. And I am going to look at the amp tonight. Did you look up the gap for the IAT?

measure the distance from the flange (or gasket mounting sirface of the IAC valve) to the tip of the pintle. If the distance is greater than 1 1/8 inch, reduce the distance by applying pressure onto the pintle to retract it. Try some side-to-side motion in the event the pintle binds.
try that.

I also sent Granatelli an email to see how much a maf would be. ill let you know what he says. I also asked him about something for me.
