Need Pics Of The Whistler Mod hey what up fellas i am in the middle of doing the whistler mod to my headlights. well i was wondering if the guys that did this mod to your headlights can post some pics so i can get some ideas? do i paint the whole thing black or paint the outside and then the ruffles and leave the center alone....i need sugestions here fellas! HELP!!!!

the whole thing just leave the back part the same and you will see no difference in light output
BEFORE AND AFTER PICS IN THE CAR
only thing i would have done different is used black caulk i guess
o and shove the silicone into the crevasse that is in between the lens and the housing wen you close everything
i seen some with only the outside black its looks unfinished...

i use gloss just cause i had it laying around plus my car is black so i thought it would match up better....any other color ill got with flat or semi gloss
the other car is my bros...hes the one that painted it zr1 cyber gray metalic...
he should have put some before and after pics

nice nice nice!!!! thanks fellas. i do have plans on painting the whole thing except the very back and the paint that i am using is the 500 degree paint and its gloss black....

same paint i used... you wont tell any difference in the light as long as you keep the back of the housing chrome....and yeah i used 500 gloss black too.

Clean up and polish the lenses if they are yellowed, cracked, anything. ALL imperfections will show. Heres mine:
