Slap on a 15" M/T and it will go mid 12's all day. SS M6 has launch control. I'd say not bad at all for a bone stock 3850 lb car. The Corvettes put down ~400 wrhp with the same engine, so expect about the same. The good thing about the LS3 is that it makes HUGE power N/A with bolt-ons and a cam. LG has gone 500hp cam only!!!

Sorry 14.4" rotors on the back of the SS looks like nothing smaller than a 17" will fit after you add the caliper height to it. This camaro is already looking not drag racer friendly

Too heavy! First gear ratio in auto is too low. Price will be too high.
I would rather put a big crate motor in mine.

Thats with the new more strict MPG ratings. Back when our cars were manufactured they used a system that rated cars with much more generous MPG's

Our cars on the new system would likely be
M6 24-25MPG
3.23 A4 21-23MPG
2.73 A4 26MPG

Basicly were getting a car thats 300-400lbs heavier but with 100 more horsepower and 80-100 more torque.

Should just edge out the current 4th Gens

I'm betting an BONE STOCK 2010 Camaro M6 SS will go 12.8's@110 by the end of 2009. Those ******* across the country in mineshaft air will probably go 12.6-12.7@112 by the end of the year

The LS3 Vette is rated at 12.4@117 by GM
In reality people have been getting them 12.0's on more than a few occasions
