Its pretty bad no matter which way you look at it.

Time wise I say it took me the better part of a day by myself. That includes tearing everything apart removing it and putting everything back together.

Special tools are being small enough to get almost on top of the dash and reaching down behind it, lots of extensions and crap, a steering wheel puller, full socket set, and a boat load of patience and possibly alcohol!

If you need to pull it out of the car the whole dash needs to come off and out.

No way, you removed your dash for nothing.

1. Remove glove box
2. Remove heater module bolts & cover
3. Remove heater core bolt & clamp
4. Remove Heater Core

I'm talking about the entire box and everything, I thought that was all the heater core? No way to get to all the bolts with just the glove box out.

You mean the module? To replace the heater core you don't need to remove the dash. The heather core looks like a little radiator.

I had to do mine. Only took me about two hours. I knew it was the heater core because there was coolant on my pasenger floor board.
