Default BFG's radials.

are these the good dr's from bfg?Bryce had told me that they make 2 models. It looks like this is the old model(good one)

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overv...al-t-a/12.html

and the newer model has a cris cross pattern.just wanted to make sure. I'm going to go buy them in a few hrs.i cant find a pic of the other model though.

I have heard that they aren't that good. I would just get the nitto drag radials if you want them to last and the M/Ts if you want them to grip like a mother.

bf drags come in 2 patterns the old and new tread

the new tread is more for 17 and 18 inch rims and hooks better than the old tread made for 17 and smaller rims

The bottom picture is the newer design. Personally, I think they're as good as you're going to get for a real street tire (real but I still wouldn't drive in the rain). The M/T's are better but that getting very serious.

Fixed for you Jason:
http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/pts/782764188.html

But like the guys said the only ones worth a damn on the street are the M/T ET Streets, they will yank tire on a properly set up car. But then again if the hussle is your game the old BFG's might pass for regular street tires to the ignorant.

The M/T's are probably the best street legal radial, but a better question would be how streetable do you need these tires to make? Also, how powerful is your car? Are these going to be the tires that are always on the car?

How streetable? Well I know people that drive 100+ mile trips on them no problem, but get them near any water and say hello to the rear of the car cause that bitch will come around on you like nobodies business.

the second pic is the newer design and hook way better. thats what i currenty run on my car as a dd. the wider you go with the tire the more like a full on slick it turns out to be. mt can be very dangerous as a dd and IMO i think the bfs are the best DD drag radial.

If you have any kind of power do not get bfg radials. They have pretty good tread life but they arent that great at the track.

Nittos will last 10K miles easy. But are only really good for a near stock auto.

BFG if you aren't going to crazy with the power on a DD

M/T if you want a dedicated drag tire. I wouldn't DD this tire, it would last maybe 3K miles
