Default Good rim shop needed, powdercoat wheels

Hey guys. I'll be getting these rims for free from my uncle and I need to find a good rim shop that will polish out any scratches and curb rash and I want them powdercoated black. Im in LA area but will drive to a good shop. Thnx guys.

hmmm well someone correct me if im wrong, but if the scratches and rash are light the powdercoat will just cover it up.

i got a shop near me but I am really far from LA. But it should cost you about 100 a wheel so 400 total 450 tops

whats up nathan, well those are some nice wheels....im going to this place in Huntington park, ill le u kno how good is his work on wheels when i get them back in 2 weeks...he powdercoated my front clip and it came out really good

Thnx James! What did they quote you for doing your rims? Let me know. As far as i know, no one has those Intro's in black and no one has them on a C5 so I hope that they'll look good. BTW, I'll be selling my blk Z06 rims with tires when these rims are done. Frnt tires like new and rear bfg drag radials with a lotta life left, rims no scratches, $600, ask around for me. Thnx.

correction you will be the second one to have it on a C5. BUT you will be the first on a black C5. buddy of mine had those on his old C5 in black as well

hey what size are you going with on those new wheels? they will look sweet powdercoated. I might hit u up later if i end up selling my stock c5 wheels and maybe pickup your blk z06's so i can have an extra set

Yeah, PM Mike (sommer86). His guy did his rims for I think like $225 TOTAL. He did stuff in my engine bay as well, really nice...

Nate head down the street from the shop to Super Sport tires they did my old Z06 wheels and Jorge's black chrome on his vette. Guy does a bitchin job....

The rims have some new BFG KDW's up frnt, dont know what size. I'll be putting my Nitto555's in the rear, those are 285/40 18r.

If they fit yeah, but my Nittos are still like new. Gonna spend dough on powdercaot first.

What did that guy charge you? That blk like chrome does look tight.

i had to mini tub my car to fit my 345's... i was just pulling your leg. I am trying to set up for my Vortech set up gonna need some hook. I think the guy charged Jorge like $300 bills for the black chrome and the powder coat cost me about $200....
